Marlin and I

So far my life is wonderful and amazing as always and Marlin and I have been enjoying a wonderful summer together!

This past week Marlin and I went tubing down the creek and had so much fun together, even though Marlin's tube popped on a branch and he had to wade down the creek for a little ways. At first we tried to double up on my tube by sitting back to back but it was too wobbly and we both sat there laughing and trying not to flip. Then I sat in his lap in the tube for a little ways but we were too heavy to go through the shallow water. Or should I say I was too heavy :) Then on top of that we had to walk the trails in the woods to get back to our house because our tubing plan didn't work out the way it was planned. We were going to float down to our vehicle we had parked further on, but oh well. So I got a lot of exercise on Saturday. The walk through the woods felt like it was 5 miles long even though it was probably just a mile or so. Ashamed as I am to admit it, yes, I am very out of shape :(

Yesterday I played volleyball for the fist time in a month or so. I've been trying not to play too much because I kept landing on poor little Georgey and I was getting worried I might really hurt him if I didn't slack off a bit! It felt SO GOOD to play volleyball again though! Just running around in the sand (the best that I could with this belly) and getting hot and sweaty felt so good! Afterwards Marlin and I took a dip in the creek to cool off! Cool, clear, Cane Creek is so refreshing in the summer time when everything feels hot and sticky and gross!!! I'm so thankful for a wonderful life and for wonderful summer time filled with lots of volleyball and fun times!

As far as I know my "Little Marlin" is doing just fine. He hasn't been moving around in there as much as he used to... I do believe there isn't as much room for him to haul back and take a whack at me like he used to before!!! Last night and this morning though he has wiggled so much. I'm not quite sure what he is doing but sometimes its a bit painful as he gouges me in the ribs and makes my sides ache. Today I am at 34 weeks! Wow I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone by. It doesn't really seem like it has been very long! I'm getting quite eager to meat him! I'm still amazed at this baby growing inside of me! It's my very own and I can barely wait to see what he looks like and hold him in my arms :)
