We had an amazing week in Colorado. We camped up in the mountains by a rushing stream, we four wheeled all over the mountains, visited with friends, and went to a small family camp while there! It was such a blast. We didn't really want to come home. But... now that I am home, I'm happy to be here. I sure have my work cut out for me. So many things need to be done, like laundry, dishes, unpacking, weeding the garden, mowing the lawn, washing the dirty truck we took out there, oh the list is endless.
So I thought I'd share my photos.
I've taken so many photos like this one of the valley, but I never get tired of looking at it.

We got the chance to see a cinnamon black bear. I wish we could have gotten close to it, but once it heard us it took off running up the mountains side. It made me just slightly nervous knowing there really were bears out there for sure, and that they were that close to our camp.
Campfire time! We didn't cook our meals over the fire, but we cooked them on a propane camp stove!

Once in the middle of the night I got up and decided to try a few night landscape pictures. I was so cold out there taking pictures, but it was fun and definitely worth it. I know I really need to work on these night photos, but I don't often get the chance.
